TERMS & CONDITIONS
We advise your act of booking and payment of the rental deposit constitutes your agreement to our Terms and Conditions and provides your authorisation to charge your credit card for any costs associated with damage, breakage, or cleaning/laundering costs as outlined below.
Variances to these Terms & Conditions can be agreed on, but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
Attention and care has been invested to ensure that you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Please show the necessary care and respect for the property, its interiors, outdoor spa and native flora and fauna.
At the time of booking, your name and home address, as well as a contact phone number (personal mobile preferred) and email address is to be provided. This information is mandatory.
Please check that the dates on your Confirmation email are the dates you have booked.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
In order to secure your reservation, a $250 deposit is required within 24 hours. If we have been unable to reach you, the reservation will be automatically cancelled and your reserved dates will revert to available in the calendar.
The balance for all bookings is due 14 days prior to your booking commencement date. Any payments in advance of the due date form part of the deposit and are subject to the cancellation/refund policy.
Your accommodation commences from the designated arrival time of 3pm on the commencement date of your booking and is completed at the designated departure time of 10am on the departure date of your booking, unless otherwise arranged in advance by email or text.
It is your responsibility to arrive on the day you have booked. If for any reason you are late arriving for the period you have booked, the full cost of the entire booked period remains payable. Where you do not arrive on the date you have booked, or leave early, all payments received to confirm your booking will be forfeited to the property owner.
- A fee of $25 is payable on all cancellations, to cover costs incurred.
Please take note of the following cancellation policy:
- more than 4 weeks before your holiday - full refund of deposit (less fee noted above)
- less than 4 weeks before your holiday - 1/2 refund of deposit
- less than 2 weeks before your holiday - 1/4 refund of deposit
- less than 1 week before your holiday - no refund of deposit and/or final payment
We do not on charge fees for Credit Card payments, however, in the event of a refund for any reason, all Credit Card fees (~2%) will be deducted from the refund. br>
When less than four (4) weeks notice is given, genuine attempts will be made to re-let your accommodation for the same period of stay and all monies returned. If a booking cannot be secured, your payment will be forfeited to the property owner.
Modifications to a booking (changing dates, number of guests or length of stay) may incur an admin fee of $50. If prices have changed between the original booking date and the modification date, the new pricing will apply.
All bookings secured via a third-party platform, will also be subject to the Terms and Conditions imposed by that platform.
For any stay impacted by COVID-19, related lockdowns or border closures, the booking can either be converted to a Gift Certificate for future use in the same property or postponed and moved to a future date.
We acknowledge that accidental breakages can occur during handling of glassware and crockery. Please advise of any breakages and/or damage when you depart so repairs or replacements can be organised before the next booking. You can do this by leaving a note on the kitchen bench, or by contacting us by email or phone. This information is vital to the smooth running of the property and to maintain our high standard.
To maintain a good standard for our guests, we require certain conditions be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property, but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions:
It is a condition that guests leave the property in a clean condition. This means the kitchen will be left as you found it, and garbage taken to the outside bins. Rubbish and recycling bins are both provided.
We reserves the right to charge guests for any costs incurred due to additional cleaning, if the above conditions are not met. A minimum fee of $50 per cabin applies for additional cleaning and laundering.
Note: Please advise at the time of booking if you would prefer to pay this additional cleaning fee, which will be added to the tariff for your stay.
Some properties do not accept children due to safety concerns. Please inform us at time of booking if children of any age will be attending.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and loud music etc must cease at 10pm.
All waste water is processed by an envirocycle septic system that treats the waste water and recycles it for use on the gardens at the property. Please ensure that nothing other than toilet paper is flushed down the toilet, and fats and solids are removed from dishes prior to washing up. Any fee incurred in repairing the system due to tenant negligence will be at the expense of the tenants.
We advise that where damage or major soiling occurs to the property and surrounds, including appliances, furniture, furnishings, bedding, fittings, and spa, we reserve the right to charge guests with the costs incurred of replacement, repair, cleaning or otherwise, bringing such items and equipment back to their original condition.
The number of guests (including children) must not exceed the number stated at the time of booking. All rates quoted are for twin share.
Rooms not paid for will be locked off to reduce cleaning costs.
Pets are not permitted.
Smoking is prohibited inside all buildings. If any evidence of cigarette smoke residue inside the property is found, an automatic fee of $200 will be charged to your credit card for cleaning and for laundering of all soft furnishings. Ensure that you do not smoke near any open windows or doors at your cabin.
Do not overload the firebox as this will cause the unit to overheat and will irreparably damage the firebricks lining the firebox. This cost of replacement of firebricks is $70.
Do not set the spa so that the water is too hot, as this can cause the spa to over-heat and the spa to cut out. Do not sit on the spa cover. It is filled with foam and will break if any weight is put on it. Do not leave the cover in a place where it can be damaged, and ensure it is secured down with the straps whenever the spa is not in use. This cost of replacement is $850.
Pool: No diving or bombing is permitted. Ensure access gates are closed when you leave.
Tennis Court: Footwear on the court must be white soft sole shoes only. Ensure gate is closed when you leave.
Theft & Loss are the tenants’ responsibility during their stay. The owners take no responsibility for the tenants’ personal property.
Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. The tariff charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly, this rate does not allow for the extra costs associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, damage, repairs etc. Any unauthorised parties or events will be closed down. You will also be removed from the resort and any monies paid will be forfeited.
We hope your stay with us will be absolutely perfect, but should you experience any problems please contact us as soon as possible so that we can attempt to resolve the issue for you. Where a serious problem cannot be resolved a credit of up to one (1) nights room charge may be offered, except in the case of any force majeure event (storm, lightning, unlawful acts, area wide power outage, road closure or other events beyond our control).
